Samuel Gapp is a german pianist and composer, based in Lisbon, Portugal. He plays concerts with various bands (such as Samuel Gapp Trio & String Quartet, Tomás Marques Quarteto, Quintessence, …) as a leader and sideman in Portugal, Germany, Spain, Netherlands and Switzerland. 2019 he won the Prémio Jovens Músicos and the Prémio de Composição Bernardo Sassetti in Portugal and released his first album with original music called „Trio & String Quartet“, combining a jazz trio with a string quartet.
